FAQ

TaLRO is the abbreviation for Tanzania Landscape Restoration Organization, A Non-Governmental Organization Founded And Registered On 10th December 2019 Under The Act Of Non-Governmental Organization's No 24 Of 2002 As Amended In 2005 And 2019.
The Aim of this NGO is to Initiate, Support And Promote Landscape Restoration Activities In Tanzania as well as Support Different Community Groups, Especially Women And Youth To Initiate Income Generating Activities And Engage In Landscape Restoration Activities.
Like any other substantial Organization, TaLRO has a team of dedicated and determined individuals who work and collaborate
hand in hand with various Tanzanian communities in researching, analyzing different forestation activities and how dwellers interact
with the land to come up with best implementable procedures of land maintenance, sustainability and good use of its resources.
We realize; anthropogenic activities have increased pressure on natural resource leading to land degradation and deforestation ultimately lowering agricultural productivity (due to soil erosion and loss of pollinators), limited energy sources, declining water quality and availability, increased vulnerability to disasters (e.g. floods and droughts) while women and youth become more vulnerable.
Due to this, The Organization has prepared and so far implemeneted various Awareness campaigns within different
places all over the country especially very remote areas with indegenous people where little is known, providing education on biodiversity effects
degradational activities and the dangers in the ignorance of conducting safe and accepted ways of land restoration activities.
